life of living on the edge - including the edge of the law. Chewbacca
became Solo's partner in crime and the two were renowned for their
escapade, particularly after they came into possession of the Millennium
Falcon; a ship that the two souped up into a craft that could perform
far above its original abilities.
A paid job of transporting droids plopped this team right into the
middle of the rebel alliance, where they came face to face with Luke
Skywalker and Princess Leia. Despite the cowboy bravado of Solo, he
found himself attached to these two friends and their cause, even
falling in love with Princess Leia throughout the course of the first
three films in the series. Even after he has fulfilled his mission to
the alliance, he returns to the forces to help Luke destroy the Death
Star, Darth Vader's battle station, at the end of Star Wars: A New Hope.
